Why Use a PPM?

PPM is not a Typical Mouthguard
The PPM uses science and technology. It is specifically molded to fit your mouth and to meet your personal needs. Because of its technical and custom made design, the Pure Power Mouthguard is not available for purchase in stores. Only a PPM-certified dentist can assess and custom fit your PPM.
Some athletes do, however, turn to store-bought mouth guards. One type is the “boil and bite” mouthguard. It is made of material that is heated up so your teeth can be pressed inside it to create a “form” fit. The material used for this type of mouthguard is not durable or comfortable. Another kind of mouthguard is made of a pressure-heated laminate. This type fits better than a boil and bite, but the material can actually shift your bite even further and make your jaw muscles work harder.
