For people who want a beautiful straight smile, but are unable to have braces, instant orthodontics can be used to provide the straight teeth they have always wanted. Instant orthodontics is a cosmetic dentistry procedure that uses porcelain veneers and crowns to create a straight, even, smile.
Instant orthodontics are ultra-thin shells of porcelain that are permanently bonded to the front sides of your teeth to provide a straight, white smile. Porcelain veneers can be applied to multiple teeth on both the top and bottom rows.
Receiving instant orthodontics usually requires about four visits to Dr. Alhadef’s Dallas, Texas cosmetic dentistry studio. The first appointment is an initial consultation where Dr. Alhadef will describe the entire process and answer all of your questions so that you are completely comfortable with the instant orthodontic process.
During the second appointment, you will actually begin the procedure. This will require that your teeth be lightly reshaped to accommodate the instant orthodontics, without making them look unnatural. A local anesthetic is used during this procedure to make sure you are completely comfortable. Once your teeth have been reshaped, a mold will be taken of them and sent to a Master technician. The technician will create your instant orthodontics specifically for your smile. While this is being done, you will be provided with temporary veneers.
Once the instant orthodontics arrive, you will return for your third visit. During this visit, your temporaries will be removed, and the permanent instant orthodontics will be bonded in place. At this point the instant orthodontic procedure is essentially finished. Dr. Alhadef will ask you to return once more to make sure the instant orthodontics have bonded correctly.
From start to finish, instant orthodontics can be used to provide a straight white smile in about one month, as opposed to years with traditional braces.
In order to receive instant orthodontics, you must have good overall dental health, and you must have a healthy bite. This will be determined during your initial consultation with LVI Dentist, Dr. Alhadef. Instant orthodontics can be used to correct:
- Crooked Teeth
- Discolored Teeth
- Cracked Teeth
- Misshapen Teeth
- Gaps Between Teeth
The cost of you instant orthodontic procedure depends on the number of veneers and crowns you will need placed on your teeth. Dr. Alhadef will give you an estimate of the cost of the procedure during your initial consultation, and he will provide you with financing options so that your instant orthodontics fit within your budget.
