Dental Implants with All-ceramic Dental Crowns

If you have only one missing tooth, a dental crown on a dental implant is probably your best choice.

Like the natural root, a dental implant provides the foundation for a dental crown, in this case a new all-ceramic dental crown. A Nobel Biocare all-ceramic dental crown on a dental implant looks and functions very much like the missing tooth did. Nobel Biocare has a forty-year history of success stories using dental implants and dental crowns, and leads the dental implant market.

Easy 4 Step Dental Implant Process

  1. Examination - The first step to your new teeth is an examination of your current situation by Dr. Alhadef. During the examination, you may be presented with the option to follow a conventional process or a state-of-the-art guided process to place your single dental implant.
  2. Preparation – Dr. Alhadef will then take x-rays to see how your jawbone looks to determine the position for placing the dental implant. Often an impression will be taken of your current teeth and jawbone.
  3. Implant – Next you will receive local anesthesia while Dr. Alhadef will place a temporary tooth on your dental implant and make an impression from which your final tooth with be made.
  4. Smile! - You’ll return once more to have your final tooth placed by Dr. Alhadef and leave with your beautiful new smile.

Dental Implants - Patient Care Procedures
Your new dental implant is extremely beautiful and exceptionally strong, but like your natural teeth, it should be taken care of:

  • Avoid chewing extremely hard substances (e.g., ice, hard candy, etc.)
  • Avoid foods that can stain your teeth (e.g., coffee, tea, wine, etc.)
  • Schedule follow-up visits with Dr. Alhadef regularly for check-ups!
  • Don’t forget to brush (and floss) your teeth at least twice a day
